The first low-floor bus MB Sprinter is lonched.
A totally new design of low-floor bus is created on a base of MB Sprinter. The rear part of a bus was extended, and the floor was lowered to provide easy boarding and alighting for passengers with lowered mobility, espetially on a wheelchair. Such a constructive solution allows the bus to give important additional consumer characteristics with a slight rise in price, by keeping unchanged the original chassis - rear suspension, rear axle, brake system, etc. In comparison with the small buses with high floors, which provide for the carriage of a passenger in a wheelchair and equipped with a lift, in our case the ramp is applied, which significantly accelerates the process of entry and exit. The minimum cost of conversion is about 24 000 EUR (excluding VAT), for an additional charge there may be established route LED signs, Semi-Air Kit for the rear suspension, a microphone, etc.
